What it does

Pause supported destructive shell commands and review the affected files or commits before choosing Proceed or Cancel. The sample demonstrates an interactive tool-call guard.

  • Preview affected files and commits
  • Proceed and Cancel controls
  • Compact layout for narrow terminals

When this mod might be useful

Blast Radius may help when a task involves deleting generated files, resetting work, cleaning a repository, or applying another supported command with a large impact. The preview gives you another opportunity to inspect the target. It is most useful when you also understand the command and the mod’s documented pattern-matching limits.

Understanding this listing

Use this listing as a starting point for comparing the author’s documented behavior with your own workflow. The repository is the source of truth for installation, configuration, and later changes. The commands here reflect the setup available at the review date.

Before you try it

  • The source lists supported command patterns and important blind spots; this is not a complete shell parser.
  • Requires Claude Code 2.1.287 or later.
